The Indigo Finance Journey: Starting with a Strong Financial Strategy
We talk a lot about Financial strategy, and it is at the core of all the work we do for our clients.
But what is it? And why is it so important?
The what and why
A strategy is a plan of action designed to achieve long-term goals or an overall aim. Once you’ve determined your aim and longer-term property goals then, for most people, finance is going to be the key to underpinning these.
Having a well-thought-out finance strategy can be the make or break of achieving your property goals. You may have great ideas and spot a fantastic investment opportunity – however, if you can’t raise the finance, it’s going to be impossible to execute that venture. Or, you may end up locked into a costly loan structure – unable to pivot and flex to the changing financial landscape.
How we can help
All of our clients’ needs are different, and we believe that lending should be tailored to these, rather than just the latest product or industry trend. The first stage of your journey with Indigo Finance is a meeting that focuses purely on financial strategy. This will be the driver behind the finance products we suggest, and the way that we work together to structure your loans.
Ahead of this meeting, we will ask for some basic information as part of our Indigo Finance Fact Find, this enables us to form the basis of your personalised plan. We always do our homework! During our meeting we will listen to, and understand your current needs and longer-term goals, ensuring that lending is structured correctly and competitively structured to suit your requirements. We will discuss any worries you might have about interest rates or how repayments will fit with your current lifestyle.
Only once we have all this information will we start researching the market to identify the best products for you. There are many different types of lenders and products out there, by working together to create a solid financial strategy we will be able to articulate what you need and what finance option is going to work best to get you to your goals.
It is important to remember that your financial strategy is personal. There is no one size fits all approach, it’s aligned with your longer-term goals and leverages your personal position.
